Sheryl Underwood is a comic, host of a television show, as well as an actor in the United States. She's most well-known for her work as The Talk's co-host on the daytime. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas and was raised in Little Rock, Atwater, as well as Atwater. Sheryl was raised in a difficult family. She spent the majority of her young life caring for her older sister Frankie who suffered from an illness called polio. She was in problems with her mother as she was growing up. Sheryl claims that at one point she was stabbed by her mother's father after he got too intimate with her. After her graduation from college, Sheryl joined the military. Her passion for the military was comedy. She became the very first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. Her TV professional career started in 1992 when she was a guest performer for the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. The host was on TV at the time of her debut on Oh Drama! Then in 2011, she started participating as a co-host on The Talk as co-host. She's also appeared in fictional programs like Bulworth Niki as well as Beauty Shop.
