Sheryl-Underwood
Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian, TV host and actress most well-known for her role as host of the popular daily talk show The Talk. Sheryl was born in Arkansas and was raised within Little Rock, Atwater, and Atwater. Sheryl comes from an extended family with a lot of problems. She spent most of her young life caring for her older sister Frankie who suffered from an illness called polio. As a teenager, she experienced a difficult relationship with her mom. Sheryl says that her mother was once brutally stabbed by her father for getting too close. Sheryl when she graduated from college and joining the army, was an active participant in. Her passion was comedy. In 1989, she was the first female to make it to the finals of the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. She started her TV professional career in 1992 when she became a regular participant on the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She hosted the television show Oh Drama! in 2000. Then in 2011, she started appearing as a co-host on The Talk as co-host. She's appeared in fictitious series including Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
