Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington, a Greek American businesswoman and syndicated journalist is an author. She was the founder of The Huffington Post and the CEO of Thrive Global. Author of more than 15 books. Arianna Huffington has been a journalist, TV personality writer, philanthropist, and philanthropist for more than ten years. She also is the founder of The Huffington Post, an independent, liberal online newsmagazine. When she moved to England from Greece when she was 16 and obtaining an MA with Economics from Cambridge University. She was the first student non-UK to become president of The Cambridge Union at the age of 21. After her graduation, she was a prominent Conservative syndicated journalist. After a few years later, she founded The Huffington Post which featured critical commentary on the current politics. The fame of her name helped to get a number of prominent contributors to share their opinions about news from the world of politics and culture. Arianna gained notoriety in 2003 when she ran as an independent in the California recall elections to replace Governor Davis. In addition, she was also the leader of a Detroit initiative that promoted fuel efficient cars. Forbes named her the "most powerful woman" in media with her ranking at the 12th spot. Guardian placed her on their list of the 100 most influential media people in 2009. AOL Inc. purchased The Huffington Post in 2011 and appointed her the president of their media company and also included several additional AOL brands like Engadget AOL Music Style list and Patch Media. Elli was born to Konstantinos Stasinopoulos as well as Elli, who are both journalists and consultants in management. Although she had a close relationship with her father, the relationship she had to her mom shaped the remainder of her life. She displayed leadership qualities from the beginning. When she was in her 16th year she moved to Britain to study and enrolled at Girton College Cambridge. In college, she was a member of the Cambridge Union, a college debate club. The third female president and the first foreigner she held the position of head for the Cambridge Union. In 1972 she received a degree in Economics. The career of a journalist and television host was born after graduation. In addition, along with Bernard Levin she appeared on the show Face the music.
