Anna Silk is a Fredericton resident, and is the daughter of Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had a diverse range of skills, such as being able to direct, act production, create plays teaching, as well as be the Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's dad is from Britain and her mother was a Turkish Cypriot English expat. Her mother was always watching her working in rehearsals for plays. When she was a kid, she appeared in several commercials. Anna relocated to Toronto Ontario in order in order to pursue acting. The decade that followed, she eventually relocated into Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting workshop in 2007. The couple got engaged in 2009. They married in a civil ceremony that ended in December. They they renewed their vows at an Jewish ceremony in Fredericton in April of 2011 after Anna's conversion to Judaism. Bo's relationship with Lauren who was played by Zoie Parker, was included in CNN's list of Favorite TV Couples from all time and was named E!'s Top Television Couple for 2013.
